Very origional

Very origional! This song needs to be a bit more sad though. Try working with a bass and use it very deep. If you put in some reverb and equalized to perfection you will have a great loop! Keep up the great work and keep learning! Ill be back to hear more!

First!

This song has great potential to build up to something bigger! Definately go back and use this song before another one with a much bigger beat for a huge effect. I like how the beat is almost there and not. Effects are spectacular! I would like to hear you go back and work on this! Very nice work!

Nice stuff

I have one critique which I'm sure was talked about even though I didn't read other reviews. The high pitch high hats hurt my ears in a way. If anything could be done to this I would like to hear the high hats be reduced in pitch. Also a great way to offset this would also be to make the bass louder and maybe lower in pitch. Other than that very origional and very nice! Keep up the good work!

MaestroSorrow responds:

strange... the high hats were very blurred into the piece, perhaps you have your treble set too high?

Still i'm glad you were able to enjoy it ^^, many thanks for the review.

Bass

One thing that defines drum and bass well is well.. drum and bass. The bass line I feel was written properly but in a good critique you must learn something to help better yourself later. Therefore I will critique on the bass. Like I said the bass line is written great but the sample you used just dosnt move me that much. It works for the beginning great but later make it either more earthy like big drums do, or more sin wave like. I dont know if youll understand that but just test other basses. Im still learning myself but you seem to learn faster than I do. Keep it up!

Feral-Fox responds:

Why thanks heh. Yeah I guess I should of worked more on the bass eh? Thank you for critiquing this track heh, and the help in aim lol. I will try and make a new DnB track, better bass. Thanks again.

Nice

Nice bass. One thing that urks me is the high pitch sequence. It is either too loud or the pitch is too high for that sample. Try reduceing one or the other. Also it seems like its building up the whole time and I was waiting for the drums to kick in harder and the bass to do something different. Definately worthy of going back and working on it some more. Keep up the good work.

Feral-Fox responds:

Yeah....I kinda gave up on this track. Ass you hear..no solid ideas really came to mind :( sorry about the highs. Thanks again for another good review Redse7en, Keep it up yourself ^.^

Get your groove on!

I got my F*in groove on to this song! Very nice effects and drum beats. Just watch the phaser/flanger cause they can get loud at times and make a noise you might not like. A sugguestion I can give for a song like this is either have some more sequences or stop the song all at once and end on one of those nice effects! Great work all in all, keep it up!

Draze responds:

PUMP IT UP!!! >_<

I havn't noticed the PSPV (flangerish) getting out of hand, i expect its just my headphones, but cheers for pointin' it out.

Thx for reviewing!

Indeed

Its really hard sometimes to find the exact type of drum sound you want. Once you find it one small noise can throw it off and make you spend hours trying to fix it. You however do not have this problem. You give me something to work towards now :) Nice song!

i2abbitz responds:

hey thanks se7en, i think this would be one of my better creations.. i like this one the most... anyways.. thanks for the review
